Positions available
NYC offers an incredible life experience with the highest concentration of scientific, artistic and sport centers in the world. Regardless of your country of origin, you will find activities and a group of people with whom you can identify.
Postdoctoral Fellows
The De Marco lab uses a combination of viral tracing techniques, mouse genetics, patch-clamp recordings and optogenetics to study neuronal development, synaptic function and synaptic connectivity in the mouse brain. We are looking for enthusiastic postdoc candidates preferable with a strong background in neuroscience. Prior experience in neurophysiology, in vivo imaging or mouse genetics is desirable. Interested applicants should send application materials including a CV that describes past research experience and names and contact information of at least three references by email to Dr. Natalia De Marco Garcia (nad2018@med.cornell.edu).
Graduate students
We are looking for highly motivated graduate students. Students interested in rotating in the lab are encouraged to contact me to set a time to meet and discuss available rotation projects.
